Sports
Pupils enjoy weekly PE and swimming lessons from Kindergarten, with the addition of competitive games from Year 3. Activities vary from the more traditional sports: hockey, netball, rugby, football, cricket and athletics, to alternatives such as dance, yoga, badminton, basketball and water polo. Additional sports clubs are an option for all pupils from Year 1, at lunchtimes or after-school with the aim that every child can discover and develop their own strengths and interests.
From Year 3, pupils compete against teams from other schools. Every child represents the school in a match each week, either at home or away. Tournaments and festivals for pupils of all abilities add to the competitive calendar and transport to all fixtures is provided in school minibuses.
Parents are very welcome to support their children at fixtures, both at home and away and enjoy afternoon tea afterwards.
