Every year the Art department puts pupils’ artwork forward to the Royal Academy Young Artists Show as well as the iart art competition. This year we are pleased to announce that Year 5 pupil, Olivia, was ‘highly commended’ in the iart competition for her piece titled ‘Anne Frank’.

The art competition is run by the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS). The judges said the standard of competition was extremely high this year and congratulated Olivia on her award. This year iart asked children to submit a piece of artwork that represented something or someone who inspired them.

The iart 2022 prizegiving event will be held for families and teachers at St Ethelburga’s, Bishopsgate, this month.

Head Emma Neville said “Well done Olivia. We are very proud that she has been recognised in this way as I know that a lot of hard work went into the piece of artwork”.
