HeadLines, Friday 7 July

Date Posted: Friday 07 July 2023

Dear Parents,

As the school year ends, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have had together. It has been a year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences, and I am immensely proud of our achievements.

First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated and passionate staff members. Their commitment to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment for our pupils is truly commendable. They have worked tirelessly, going above and beyond to ensure that pupils succeed, and their unwavering dedication has not gone unnoticed.

To our exceptional pupils, I want to say how impressed I am with their achievements throughout this academic year. They have embraced challenges, pushed boundaries, and discovered new talents within themselves. I have witnessed their determination, resilience, and the incredible progress they have made. Each of them is unique, with unlimited potential, and I cannot wait to see the great things they will accomplish in the future.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the constant support and partnership of our parents. Your involvement in your children’s education has been instrumental in their growth and development. Your active participation in school events, and volunteering efforts has truly made a difference. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children.

We have still been busy this week with Year 7 & 8 enjoying an exciting few days in Paris, thank you to the staff who accompanied them on such a wonderful trip. Thank you to Mr Hinchliffe and the Sports Department for a brilliant Sports Presentation evening on Thursday, it was wonderful to see our sporting achievements showcased in such a way.

As we bid farewell to our Year 6 & 8 Leavers, we celebrate their achievements and wish them the very best in their future endeavours. We are confident that they will make a positive impact on the world, and we eagerly await their future accomplishments.

We wish all the very best to staff leaving us, to Mrs Taylor who has supported the school in so many ways over the last year.  I thank all staff for their commitment to the school and their relentless focus on making sure your children have the very best care and education.

Thank you to our Parents’ Association, led by Mrs Dellar for all their hard work. Thank you to all the Form Reps, who support the communication between home and school. I am also very appreciative of the Advisory Group, Mrs Downs, Mrs Johnson, Mr Ketley and Mrs Warriner for all their support and feedback from you, the parents.

For those returning in September, I will see you all as school opens its doors at 8.00 am on Tuesday 5 September 2023. I look forward to seeing our pupils in their smart Rose Hill School uniform, ready for the challenges of a new academic year.

Wishing you all a relaxing summer.

Best wishes,

Emma Neville
