Dear Parents,

Our Sports Days are a true celebration of athleticism, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. Whatever the age of the pupils, the energy and enthusiasm displayed by them is truly inspiring. From the track races to the field events, everyone gave their all, pushing themselves to new heights and achieving personal bests. I want to commend each and every pupil who participated in Sports Day. Whether it was sprinting down the track, jumping with grace and agility, or throwing with precision, your dedication and determination were evident. You displayed great sportsmanship, encouraging and cheering for your fellow classmates, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. A special mention goes to our outstanding athletes who achieved exceptional results and broke previous records. Your commitment to your training and passion for your respective sports have truly paid off. Well done!

On Thursday evening we held our annual Sports Presentation evening, what an excellent event, seeing over 80 pupils receiving sports awards in all of our major sporting areas. I would also like to express my gratitude to our dedicated staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the event. Your efforts, enthusiasm, and commitment to our pupils’ well-being are greatly appreciated, particularly Mr Hinchliffe, Mr Blakeway and Mrs Groves. To the parents, thank you for your continuous support and encouragement. Your presence at these events and your unwavering support for our pupils are invaluable.

As we bid farewell to our Year 6 & 8 Leavers, we celebrate their achievements and wish them the very best in their future endeavours. We are confident that they will make a positive impact on the world, and we eagerly await their future accomplishments.

Thank you to our Parents’ Association, led by Mrs Dellar for all their hard work. Thank you to all the Form Reps, who support the communication between home and school.   I am also very appreciative of the Advisory Group, Mrs Downs, Mrs Johnson, Mr Ketley and Mrs Warriner for all their support and feedback from you, the parents.

For those returning in September, I will see you all as school opens its doors at 8.00 am on Wednesday 4 September 2024. I look forward to seeing our pupils in their smart Rose Hill School uniform, ready for the challenges of a new academic year!

Wishing you all a wonderful summer.

Best wishes,

Emma Neville
