HeadLines, Friday 21 April
Dear Parents,
A very warm welcome to the Summer Term. A special welcome to a number of new pupils and staff. It was lovely to see many of you at the Parent Breakfast this morning. Some of you have already met Mrs Clinton, our new School Secretary who can be contacted via [email protected].
We have some super events coming up this term, as you will see from our online calendar. Many events are for both the children and yourselves and we hope that you will get involved.
Firstly, Wellness Week starts on Tuesday 2 May, it opens with Cameron Harris, MD from TRUTH to talk about mind, body and soul, the parent session is at 9am. The full calendar of parent events can be found in the newsletter with workshops and visiting speakers including sessions on anxiety, mindfulness, screen time and hormone health. Please do see where you can get involved and sign up.
We also have Science Week, Orchestral Week and Founder’s Day. Founder’s Day is on Saturday 20 May, as a whole school community event with a huge range of activities and event. Please have this date in your diary!
The Summer Term’s main sports are cricket, athletics, swimming and tennis but with over 60 club options available, the Rose Hill Co-Curricular programme offers something for all pupils no matter their skill level or interest – I have encouraged all pupils to ‘have a go’. Please look out for further information on Wellness Week, Founder’s Day and Orchestral Week.
Best wishes,
Emma Neville
