Dear Parents,

There have already been so many exciting events this term! Pupils in the Prep School are busy practising ready for our House Song Competition and we have matches, clubs and co-curricular activities running every day. The sewing club have already made brightly coloured quilted purses – well done!

This morning we held our first Open Day of the year and it was a pleasure to welcome so many new families to the school and to show them all we have to offer. Well done and thank you to our senior tour guides and members of the PA who gave their time and spoke with the visiting families.

We will hold our first Focus Day next Friday with Prep pupils ‘off timetable’ for the day as part of our Curriculum 2020. We also have our New Term Parent Breakfast on Friday 30 September, I hope that many of you will be able to attend.

Well done to our many skiers, and their success at the ESSKIA English Schools’ Championship 2022, Gus, Charlie, Freddie, Charlotte, Jude, Elisa and Gabriel, made up our fine Rose Hill School team.

STEAM Week ‘What’s the Matter?’ is on the horizon, this is a wonderful whole school event, and I look forward to the exciting and varied experiments that will take place around the school. Keep an eye on social media and the news section of the website to read all about it.

I am mindful of the volume of communication that comes out at this point of the year, if you have any queries, please direct them to your Class Teacher and/or Form Tutor. They will respond within 24hrs although please remember they are teaching during the day!

Best wishes,

Emma Neville, Head
