Year 3 spent the morning analysing writing techniques and creating their own stories based on their Rainforest topic theme; Year 4 investigated the properties of water through a series of science experiments based on their Titanic theme; Years 5&6 developed their awareness of class differences, and empathy for the poor during the Tudor period, thanks to a workshop provided by Penshurst Place; and Years 7&8 enjoyed a spiritual experience through which they interpreted the different ways in which religion is expressed through music and art.
