What a (Wellness) Week!
During their annual Wellness Week staff and pupils at Rose Hill School came to school in their pyjamas during a week of activities focusing on Sleep.
During different sessions hosted by the school, pupils learnt about the three pillars of good sleep: nutrition, movement and mindfulness. The week culminated in the Big Sleep on Friday where all the pupils were lucky enough to have sleep workshops run by Nathalie Pennicotte-Collier, the Mind Coach and sleep specialist.
Parents also got involved in a huge variety of activities throughout the week looking at sleep and the wider topic of wellbeing.
Head, Emma Neville, said “Wow. What a week we have had! The whole school community has been involved in so many activities and we have all learnt a great deal about the importance of sleep and what is means to us. We will continue to focus on this important topic”.
