Year 6 recently returned from an action-packed residential that will be remembered for years to come! The week was a whirlwind of adventure, laughter, and new challenges, giving pupils the chance to build confidence, develop teamwork, and create lifelong memories.

From the moment they arrived, the excitement was palpable. Days were filled with water-based activities like kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding, where pupils tested their balance, coordination, and courage on the open water. On land, they faced thrilling challenges including bouldering, high ropes, and orienteering, pushing themselves to new heights—literally!

The week didn’t stop there. Pupils got a taste of precision sports with archery, fencing, rifle shooting, and even axe throwing. These activities helped them hone their focus, improve their coordination, and step out of their comfort zones. Throughout every challenge, their determination and teamwork shone brightly.

Evenings were just as special, with time to reflect on the day’s adventures and enjoy bonding moments around campfires and group activities. Whether cheering each other on during activities or sharing stories of the day, the pupils deepened friendships and built resilience as a team.
