Year 8 Art Trip

Sarah, the gallery educator gave the pupils a fantastic insight into the stories behind the images. The photography displays were divided into sections focusing on different aspects of environmental issues. The pupils enjoyed interpreting the pictures and discussing the potential meaning behind the images. After our tour with the gallery educator, the pupils studied some images further through the means of sketching some ideas in their own books. The exhibition was full of exceptional images which were stimulating as well as beautifully photographed. It was great to see Rose Hill pupils Isabela P and Evie’s entries in the photography competition displayed as part of the exhibition. Well done, Evie for winning ‘Runner Up’!
