Year 7 trip to Battle Abbey

Year 7 had a great trip to Battle Abbey last Friday discovering lots of information about the Battle of Hastings. As well as exploring the battlefield, there was an excellent exhibition centre with a film and displays about the battle. We were very lucky to end the trip meeting the Head Teacher of Battle Abbey School. We were invited to tea in Mr Clark’s study and had an interesting chat about History and the battlefield.
