Year 7 Trip to Battle Abbey
Y7 had a great trip to Battle Abbey last Friday. We were met outside the abbey by Brother James, dressed as a Benedictine monk, who gave us a tour of the abbey grounds and Battle Abbey school. We met up with our former pupils, Dylan Horton and Finly Lloyd, who joined us for drinks and donuts. We then went on a tour of the battlefield and visited the exhibition centre. We watched an informative film on the Battle of Hastings and spent the last part of the trip visiting the Gatehouse museum.
