Year 4 Geography Field Trip
Box Hill was the location for Year 4's focus day in geography. Juniper Hall was an ideal location to start our hike using bearings to take us up the hill to an ancient folly, through deciduous forests and back to the start. After orienteering we learnt how to use symbols and direction to find clues around the site. Finally, we had a quick go at geo-caching using GPS to help us find clues. The sun shone and the autumnal trees were at their best. A fun day filled with learning for all.

To kick off Book Week The Library hosted a Book Hunt for the Prep School on Monday which saw the children hunting high and low for a selection of titles. On Tuesday it was Pre Prep’s turn as they took to the Astro to hunt for favourite book characters—I’m glad to say the glum weather did not dampen their high spirits! Prep School have been designing bookmarks during their library sessions with some fantastic designs created by our artistic pupils.
