Y8 visit to Dover Castle



A good part of the trip was spent in the Great Tower constructed by Henry II in the 12th century. Year 8 were able to find out lots of information about life in the Middle Ages through studying the artefacts on display. We also visited the Princess of Wales regimental museum, the tunnels leading out of the north side of the castle, the Roman Pharos and the Anglo-Saxon church.

On Friday 21st June, Rose Hill took part in the annual French day wearing the traditional bleu, blanc, rouge with accessories such as le béret, curly moustache, garlic and onions necklaces and other props.

The end of last half term saw the Year 6 and 7 pupils travel to Rue in France for the annual French residential trip.
