Year 4 Geography Trip
On Friday the 8th of November Y4 visited Gatton Park near Reigate. Split into 5 groups, the morning the session started with a walk around the park to collecting information for map making with each group taking it in turns to lead the walk. The children used a photo sheet to identify where different photos were taken and collected data at each location. Back in the classroom, each group then made a group 'map' and recorded how the group felt about Gatton Park.
In the afternoon the children evaluated the view from Gatton Hall and completed an orienteering challenge - Mr Long and Mr Stacey would have been so proud!
Thank you to Mrs Morgan for organising such a great day.
