Year 3 Trip to Herstmonceux Science Centre

Year 3 had a fantastic day at the Herstmonceux Science Observatory. The children enjoyed the water cycle equipment, bridge building activities and the telescope talk. The hands on corridor and rooms were very popular and enabled the children to be interactive with many different science experiences. Heated plastic room plaques were very popular as were the scientific purchases from the shop. However, the moving of the dome and roof opening to allow the telescope to open to the sky was a real treat.
Many thanks to the parents and staff who made the trip such a success.
