Senior’s Start Season in Style

The U13 boys hockey have been in action in recent weeks, taking part in two tournaments. Last weekend the U13 Boys’ Hockey team travelled to Dulwich Prep School for the season opening Hockey tournament. The team were placed into a difficult group with the opposition schools being significantly bigger than Rose Hill. However the acquitted themselves admirably and emerge from the pool stage thanks to a win, loss and a draw and earned themselves a place in the semi-finals. Rose Hill eventually finished 5th. To reach and narrowly lose in the semi-finals was a fantastic achievement and the boys should be extremely proud of themselves
On Monday the boys pitted themselves against a number of school in the U13 IAPS regional qualifier. Constant disruptions due to weather meant that things were not quite as successful as on Friday but the boys showed that they are a force to be reckoned with.
The boys should be very confident for the season ahead. Well Done Boys!
