Rose Hill Ski Squad storm into 2nd place!

Rose Hill Ski Squad stormed into 2nd place to take Silver in the 'Mixed Primary' team race at the Kent Schools Ski Championship on Sunday.
In a nail biting contest, racers Cerys, Ben, Mattie and Rufus saw their combined times just behind an excellent team from Clare House in Bekenham, but they were fast enough to beat a very competitive squad from neighbouring Bishops Down who then took the 3rd spot on the podium.
In the individual medals Rufus won a gold with the fastest time of 16 boys in the 'Junior Primary' age group (years 2,3 & 4), and his run of luck continued when his randomly chosen 'fun team' also came 1st in the thrilling parallel slalom event.
