Roald Dahl Week

Friday 13th September is Roald Dahl Day. Spineless Classics have kindly donated a poster (worth £45!) as a prize for a Roald Dahl competition at Rose Hill. The poster is of James and the Giant Peach and the background is the entire book. As an example you can see a similar Charlie and the Chocolate Factory poster hanging in the foyer by the school office.
To enter the competition you need to write exactly 100 words describing your favourite character in any of Roald Dahl's books (The title doesn't count). You can describe their looks, personality, actions but be sure to use some fantastic adjectives..or even make up some of your own like Dahl!
The competition is open to years 3-8 and entries must have your name on and be given in to the library or directly to Mrs Skottowe by the end of Monday 16th September.
