My favourite thing in Year 3
Year 3 took this Friday's assembly and bravely read out what their favourite thing about Year 3 has been so far. Here are few things they had to say.
My favourite thing in Year 3has been the amazing cross country and history. In history we are learning about the Celts. I also like DT because we are going to make our own photo frames.
My favourite thing in Year 3 has been art because I like drawing cartoons. I like games because my favourite sport is football.
My favourite thing in Year 3 has been games because I like playing hockey and netball. It’s very fun. I also like art because I love painting.
My favourite thing in Year 3 has been history because you learn lots of interesting things like the people that lived hundreds of years ago called the Celts. Also I love lunch because you get to choose amazing stuff. I love games and tennis because you get to play with whoever you want to.
My favourtite thing in Year 3 has been maths because we are able to watch funny times table videos and learn weird songs that help teach us maths.

Year 6 Geography trip to the River Cuckmere and Seven Sisters Country Park.
12 March 2020
Whilst the heavy rain did make the trip via Alfriston village a little tricky it also served to highlight the spectacular meanders and creeks of the River Cuckmere’s floodplain in the Spring sunshine and allow the ‘New Cut’ to be in full spate and speed along to the sea at low tide. As it did so the fast-flowing water actively undercut and eroded the shingle beach causing mini land or ‘shingle’ slides before our very eyes.
